Our story began in 1955 when Louis E. Hobbs founded our family owned and operated construction business. Louis E. Hobbs Construction Company was the first residential foundation contractor in Louisville offering Poured Wall Construction Contracting. Our company has established a local reputation for strong work ethics, personal service, quality craftsmanship, and a hands-on management approach. Today Louis E. Hobbs Construction is under the direction of Louis' four sons and continues to break new ground, yet remains a family-owned and operated entity.

Louis E. Hobbs Construction is Louisville's first certified applicator of Mar-Koet 5000, a tested and proven below grade waterproofing system. We use Mar-Koet and QuickSeal waterproofing products to help prevent leakage.

Mar-Koet waterproofing provides a limited 10 year warranty, and QuickSeal provides a limited 5 year warranty against leakage. Though a little more expensive, Mar-Koet provides peace of mind knowing you have protected your biggest investment.
